Journey starts at 9am with the Barong Dance, a Dance that portrays the strength of black and white magic.
Along the way, we will pass 3 unique villages, Batubulan (famous for stone carving), Celuk (famous for gold and silver jewellry) and Mas (famous for wood carving). If you would like to have a look or window shop, do let me know so that I can stop on the way before reaching central Ubud.
Bali Batuan Temple is a local Balinese Hindu temple looked after by the local resident of Batuan countryside.
The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and Hindu temple complex in Ubud. Its official name is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Balinese Mandala Suci Wenara Wana)
If you would like to have a look or window shop, do let me know so that I can stop on the way before reaching central Ubud.
And the place you’ve been waiting for is Mount Batur in Kintamani. The weather is chilly, an amazing view where we are able to grab some lunch while enjoying the beautiful view of the volcanic.
If you’re feeling sleepy after lunch due to the chilly weather, you can try the kopi luwak at the coffee plantation. You will be able to see how the coffee is made (the process) and also see the different types of coffee and tea.
I hope you won’t feel sleepy after all that coffee because we will then visit Pura Tampak Siring which is also known as the Holy Spring Temple. The local people believe that if you bathe in the pool here, your soul will be cleansed.
